简介：本剧以夜间医院和细菌为主题，描写医护人员们解决一个个难题及他们的感情纠葛。麻纪（仲间由纪惠）是位病理医生，对工作认真，而且很有天份。因为一次正确的判断而得罪上司被贬去夜间的医院。麻纪仍旧认真的从事自己的工作处理每个病历。很多不明原因的病因被她发现，病人得以康复。大久保萤子(高岛礼子)是位单亲母亲，因为工作而无法照顾孩子。东浩太郎（田边诚一）是位有些奇怪的医生，每天都不回家，几乎是住在医院里，他得了自己认为无法治的病，想在生前多做些事情。故事主要围绕麻纪展开，多数是病因也是由于细菌和环境。仲间在剧中的医生有其在圈套中推理破案的形象。
